The Assets Examination Committee is considering freezing the assets of politicians and their associates who are being investigated for alleged irregularities.

They will ask that the Anti-Money Laundering Office freeze the assets of all people involved in the Shin Corp share sale and the controversial Ratchadapisek land purchase, the source said.

There is right and there is wrong.   Thats the way of the world..   If you going to justify the actions of those who do what is wrong for the whole of the populace, just to sanctify the personnal gain of the few, with the thought that maybe I can get on board of the gravy train too,...... all will suffer in the end.....   You cannot glorify these corrupt individuals.... they must be charged and  tried....  if found guilty they should not only forfeit the ill gotten gains, but also suffer a penalty personally....

This should also serve as a deterent for those who should think twice about entering into the world of corruption....... but alas, I know it won't
