Press the "insert quoted text" button, and quote. At the end of your quote press the "insert quoted text" again to close your quote.

Doing it the old fashion way, at the beginning of your quote type [ ] in between the brackets type the word quote. At the end of what you wanted to quote, type [ ] in between the brackets type /quote

Happy quoting....................Icon_smile

Question RE: Want to learn Quote function.

Dear Jaggernaut,
Thanks for the reply. In your post to me,you inserted my original post into your reply. This is what I want to learn how to do.Perhaps you give me proper directions for this, but I can't even seem to find the "insert quoted text"button. If I were to type a quote inside[ quote ] it would be too time consuming and a lot of work for my 1 to 2 typing fingers. Please don't despair at my lack of computer skills, but theres no one around here whom I can ask.

RE: Want to learn Quote function.

Hi Mellow,

Under every post there is a reply button on the lower right hand side. Click it and the particular post that you want to reply will appear in the reply box. You can delete certain parts of the quoted message, if you deem that it is irrelevant to your reply and you can reply or comment on the quote below the [ /quote ] function.
Hope this will help, if not let me know.
