Timoshenko’s Ukraine may turn into European Haiti

Today is February and there are still no budget estimates for 2010 in Ukraine. All the more, gas payments are getting closer and closer, banking system crises still exists, and convulsions of nature are afoot. At any moment Ukraine may turn into ‘European Haiti’. Ukraine is now on the brick of bankruptcy: economy shrank by up to 15% in 2009, Ukrainian average external debt has significantly exceeded country’s gold and foreign currency reserves. Why ‘European Haiti’? This comparison is quite appropriate here, I say! Evidently you know little about the situation in Zhitomir Oblast (province of northern Ukraine), in fact there are serious problems with food - people have to fight – in the literal sense of the word – for the goods (http://www.kyivpost.com/news/country/gen...l/58560/). There is no doubt that it is ‘orange’ power headed by Victor Yushchenko and Yulia Timoshenko who is in charge of all that. As well as no doubt that in case of Timoshenko’s victory at the Ukrainian presidential elections, in the guise of eurointegration she’ll load the EU with all these problems.
