These are Adult Minded Thais???

Check out this link and see if this rots your sox as much as it does mine.

These are the people who teach our young , right from wrong.

These are the people who teach our young how adults should act.

My opinion, these aren't teachers they are just low lifes with a bought degree, doing anything to save face. After all face is more important than doing the right thing in Thailand

Read and post your opinion please.

RE: These are Adult Minded Thais???

Like everywhere else, teaching is the bottom rung as far as working with a degree is concerned for a lot of people and they treat it that way, although there are very dedicated teachers as well. The question I ask is who was supposed to be supervising the children during their lunch period in the school? That is where the real problem lies, in the supervision. If an incident like this can happen you have to ask yourself what else is going on in this school. I have said for a long time that Schools in Thailand need nationwide rules and regulations. Although even with good rules and regulations in place it won't stop the staff from being incompetent and not supervising but it could set repercussions for the staff if incidents like this happen.

Possibly the school would clean up it's act if it's name was published in the Nation, but of course we know they won't do that because they are too preoccupied with attacking the government. LOL

RE: These are Adult Minded Thais???

As a parent with a daughter in a Thai public school this has me worried. I stress to her that if anyone touches her in her private areas to tell me imediately. I also stress to her that if a teacher tells her not to tell her parents then she should tell me imediately also and that no matter what she will not get into trouble for it. I do not know what else to do and welcome any suggestions.

There probably is not much else you can, but be vigilant. If we show our kids that we live our lives the way we tell them to live theirs everything will work out fine. My 3 girls turned out fine. Now I have a 3 year old son and that's a new learning experience.
