The drought

This years our news in Sweden has reported several times about the drought in Australia. Is it as bad as they say it is? Icon_eek

RE: The drought

I'm not currently in Australia but my parents just advised that they currently have "water restrictions". Which means you can only wash the car on Saturdays using 2 buckets of water and you can only water the garden on Sundays from 8pm till 10pm, so it must be quite bad at the moment

Yes I can't really imagine how it would be like. Still, millions and millions of people have it harder, every day. I mean, when I flush my toilett I waste 10 liters of fresh water, many people dont even have that for a whole week!

And really. Only being allowed to clean your car on saturdays and only water the garden once a week isn't really that big of deal.
