The Creator, Maintainer and Re-builder

Are we a mechanical collection of parts arranged in an order like cogs in a
gearbox or are we something more intricate.

If a mechanic disassembled the parts of a car engine could he reassemble the
parts and have the engine function perfectly again? If a computer technician
disassembled a computer and reassembled the parts would it work again? We could
confidently say yes to these questions provided that the technician knew his or
her stuff and didn’t lose any parts under the workbench.

Could this same be said for our body? Could a top surgeon disassemble the parts
of the body, reassemble all of the organs and have the body bounce back to
healthy life again as if nothing had happened?

Of course, the answer is no. Whilst the car engine and the computer are a sum of
their parts, our body is more than that. What separates our body from a computer
or a car is that the human body has this mysterious something that creates life
and causes it to function - Innate Intelligence.

The source of life has been called many things but the consensus is that there
is an organising force that flows through all living things bringing the order
and co-ordination that we call life.

In vertebrates the nerve system functions to conduct the life giving
communication through the spine linking the brain with the body’s cells for a
lifetime. Our body can’t go without its nerve connection to the brain for even a
few seconds, whilst it can be without air for minutes, water for days and food
for weeks. The nerve system and the immune system are constantly communicating
with each other thus maintaining balance between all the components of the body
and its environment.

Any interference or damage to the spinal cord and nervous system will set up
some degree of interruption to this amazing self-regulating system. This results
in the cells and organs beginning a cycle of malfunction that may not be obvious
initially but will gradually sap the life force causing Innate Intelligence to
have to adapt in ways that are less than optimal.

Chiropractors focus on optimising the communication between the brain and body,
specifically the immune system. Rather than disassembling the body the
chiropractor does what is possible to ensure that Innate Intelligence has as
little interference to its expression. This includes adjustments, exercise,
nutrition and a loving mental state. The result – a body and a life that works.

Be prepared to be amazed when your creator, maintainer and re-builder is set to
work.

Of course, the answer is no.

Shows how important is to appreciate and maintain your health to not get to a stage of replacing bodyparts....
