Qantas passengers overcome by odour

TWO Qantas airline passengers received medical attention after landing at Melbourne airport today, in the second incident this week on a Qantas aircraft.

The two passengers were affected by an odour during the flight from Sydney to Melbourne this afternoon.

In a statement from Qantas, David Cox, General Manager Engineering, said: "The aircraft operating QF439 Sydney to Melbourne this afternoon landed safely following an incident involving an odour in one section of the aircraft.

"Two passengers were affected by the odour.

"They were provided with medical assistance and have since left the terminal.''

The Rural Ambulance Service said no one was taken to hospital.

On Tuesday, a Qantas pilot was forced to make an emergency landing because the plane's hydraulic system was out of fluid, Fairfax Media reported.

Hydraulic System?!?

No... I reckon the kiwi chick that sat across from me on the bus the other day was on this plane. She took off her shoes and I passed out.
