Premier League
Hey any one of you watched yesterdays game between Manchester United Vs Tottenham. Nani produced an incredible chipped finish to beat Heurelho Gomes before Giggs belted home his second penalty to seal the win. Nani gave a two penalties and made a man utd win the league. And the game between Man City vs Arsenal the game was ended by no goal.

RE: Premier League
We just need Liverpool to beat Chelsea next week and Man. United have a good chance of retaining the Premiership title. Wink

RE: Premier League
It's all come down to the last day, today. If Chelsea draw or lose against Wigan, and Manchester United beat Stoke, then United will win the Premiership.

RE: Premier League
Sir Alex Ferguson reflects on missing links

“How you view the season depends on whether you focus on the low moments or look at the positives,” Sir Alex Ferguson wrote in his programme notes before yesterday’s game against Stoke City. “It’s the old conundrum as to whether you see the glass as half empty or half full.”

Since hope of Wigan Athletic causing an upset against Chelsea effectively evaporated after only six minutes at Stamford Bridge, Manchester United supporters had most of the match to ponder Ferguson’s remarks as they reluctantly came to terms with the knowledge that they will start next season still tied on 18 championships with Liverpool.

The more optimistic among them will argue that United made a better fist of the campaign than many might have expected the moment that Carlos Tévez followed Cristiano Ronaldo out of Old Trafford last summer and also point out that, despite the departure of that duo, Ferguson’s team scored 18 goals more than they did in the Barclays Premier League last term.

Others will wonder whether defeats against Aston Villa and Fulham in the space of a week before Christmas would have been averted had United not been plunged into an injury crisis that, at one point, robbed them of eight defenders and Edwin van der Sar, their first-choice goalkeeper.
