And the glamour award goes to: Reese Witherspoon, Teri Hatcher and Kate Hudson dazzle at People's Choice
By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Hollywood stars Reese Witherspoon, Teri Hatcher and Kate Hudson led the pack of glamorous stars at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night.
The actresses dazzled as they arrived at the Shrine Auditorium, with Reese and Teri opting for classic little black dress while Kate looked a vision in blue in a full-length Gucci gown complete with thigh-high split.
As well as winning big in the style stakes, both Reese and Kate also managed score awards.

Kate scooped the gong for favorite leading lady, dedicating her award to son Ryder, who was celebrating his fifth birthday that same night.
Reese, who stars in the current holiday season hit Four Christmases, was named favorite female movie star.

The actress, who won an Oscar in 2005 for portraying June Carter Cash in Walk the Line, told the crowd: 'It's such a great way to start the new year.
'A couple years ago, I won a great award for singing in a movie. This year, I won an award for having a baby throw up on me.'

The Dark Knight soared away with every trophy it was nominated for Wednesday at the 35th annual fan-favorite CBS ceremony.
The caped crusader flick won five awards, including favorite cast, superhero, action movie and on-screen matchup for Christian Bale's Batman and the late Heath Ledger's Joker.
'On behalf of all of the cast from the movie, thank you very much to the fans,' said Bale. 'Here's to Heath.'

Frock stars: Paris Hilton and Carrie Underwood opted for bejewelled dresses

Other recipients selected by Internet voters in categories spanning movies, television and music included Dancing With the Stars as favorite reality show, Carrie Underwood as favorite female singer, and House as favorite TV drama.

Supporting actress: Portia De Rossi turned out to accompany her spouse Ellen DeGeneres

'I wish I could share this with you,' DeGeneres told the audience while clutching her trophy on stage.
'I could throw it on the ground and smash it into a million pieces, and give each one of you a little piece of it, but that's violent, and that's probably why you voted for me, because I'm not violent.'
Queen Latifah, who hosted the night, accepted the favorite drama and independent movie awards alongside her The Secret Life of Bees co-star Dakota Fanning.
Earlier she opened the show by wading through the audience and asking celebrities if they could keep entertaining the masses in 2009.
All mimicked President-elect Barack Obama and by answering: 'Yes we can.'

Sienna Miller leads the low-cut brigade at pre-Oscars charity party
By JILL PAUL

Sienna Miller upped the glamour stakes in Hollywood ahead of Sunday's Oscars ceremony as she and other stars were spotted at a charity event - in an array of revealing dresses.
Wearing a flowing low-cut and strapless pink gown, the actress posed for the paparazzi at the Montblanc Signature For Good charity party held at legendary Paramount Studios on Friday.
Other celebrities at the event were Eva Longoria, Reese Witherspoon, Marcia Cross, Milla Jovovich, Dita Von Teese and Emily Blunt.

Desperate Housewives actress Eva looked stunning in another strapless floor-length dress with black embroidered detail around the waist - while her co-star Marcia wore a gorgeous silver floor-length dress.
And burlesque star Dita wore a silk chiffon gown with a plunging neckline.

The charity raised money for Unicef's fight against illiteracy. Guests enjoyed dinner by Hollywood celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck and entertainment by a swing band.

The Oscars mean parties - lots of parties - but in the midst of a recession, many are expected to be scaled down.
Vanity Fair's annual bash at the Sunset Tower Hotel will be a hot ticket after last year's event was cancelled due to the Writers' Guild of America strike.
Editor Graydon Carter said: 'The party will be a much more intimate affair than in years past; we’re going to scale back the guest list considerably.
'We’ll celebrate Hollywood’s big night the way we did when we first threw the party 15 years ago - it will be a cosier, more understated event,' he added.

Other Oscar after-parties with exclusive guests lists are the Governors' Ball and Elton John's AIDS Foundation.
Pop star Prince will be hosting another bash at his Beverly Hills residence.
Last year, he jammed with Stevie Wonder.
