LGE - Now even MORE security measures!

It`s getting beyond a joke with London Gold Exchange.

A couple of months ago they started verification procedures for new and existing customers by phone. NOW they want ALL members, old and new, to send bank statements or letters from their banks to further verify their accounts.

Wonderful how they just announce these new procedures on their site with no prior notice. I fully support efforts to reduce fraud but the way they go about things, particularly for members who`ve been with them for a while, is pathetic.

They`ve lost me as a customer anyway.

From what i`m reading around the forums a fair amount of LGE`s customers are upset by this latest move. I suspect LGE have shot themselves in the foot with this one and could end up losing the very ones they should be working to keep - their loyal members. :x

That`s right Phil, Moneybookers has a good reputation, and of course PayPal. I`m going to do very little through e-gold in future so that I can avoid outexchanging it altogether.
