Leaf blower/vacuum

It`s hard going collecting fallen leaves at certain times of the year. They look messy, and they are often very slippy. That being the case, I think one of my favourite tools is the Leaf Blower/Vacuum.

Mine is a pretty porweful beast, though rather noisy so ear protection is very useful. It mulches the leaves down when on the vacuum mode. Choose a model that isn`t too heavy otherwise you`ll feel the effects of carrying it about after a while. Also, make sure that the one you go for is easy to change over the tools from blower to vacuum.

I had one it made a big difference.

I used to blow the leaves into a big pile, then suck it up, and grind it. The dump the leaves onto the vegetable garden. We had the best tomatoes in the deepest leaf mulch!

Send the kids out with rakes, and let them have fun. Easy way of doing it.
