How to Lose Weight Through Portion Control?

Losing weight is hard. There are alarming statistics about how people are packing on the pounds with no clear way of how to get them off again. If you've been on the diet merry-go-round and want off, the answer may be simpler than you think.There's a diet that lets you eat what you want, when you want throughout the day. It's the type of diet that will let you be successful because you don't have to change your habits much in order to start and maintain it. It's a diet that doesn't require any expensive commitments, either. All you have to do is eat a little less.Find a backup food. If you know you'll cheat a little, select a food that's good for you and low in calories as a snack of choice. Fresh vegetables, fruit or air-popped popcorn are good choices. You can have all you want, but keep the plate small and eat slowly.

Keep plate small and eat slowly is fine but with that you should eat often that will really help you out. Six small meals each day, eaten slowly, will keep your metabolism working at a good rate, keep you feeling full, and still keep you on the road to weight loss. You will get used to smaller portions and soon feel satisfied with them.
