Frequently Asked Questions about Chiropractic?

How Safe is chiropractic?
It has been proven to be 250 times safer than over the counter anti-inflammatories. There are over 104 different gentle, scientific techniques. Leaving pressure on nerves is hazardous to your health.

What is chiropractic?
The focus of Chiropractic is the nerve system function. Your spinal bones protect your spinal cord & nerves which control every cell, tissue & organ in your body! Your nerve system is the master controller, & works like a switchboard sending messages to the brain and the rest of the body. Once your spine is balanced & free of nerve interference your body works at its best, self healing & self regulating. Interferences to the nerve system are called subluxations

When should I get checked?
Subluxation may begin at birth, so now! Waiting for symptoms of subluxation can be like waiting for your teeth to rot before you see the dentist. The nerve system is dedicated to only 2-10% feeling nerves, its main role is to function your body, so nerves that go to your hip or leg, causing pain may just be the same nerves functioning your digestive system.

Is it too early for my child to be checked by a chiropractor?
Absolutely not! The earlier the problem is detected, the greater the chance of it being corrected for a life of optimal health. As the twig is bent, so the tree grows. Bumps, falls, jumping & school bags, may all impact your child’s development.

How many adjustments will I need?
This varies depending on severity & significance of your stress pattern. Most people sense progress within a week or two of adjustments. As stress is released from the spine, visits become less frequent. Complete healing can take months to years. Dspine Clinic teaches you how to fast track healing in the Health Seminars.

Why is the spine so important?
Your spine protects your spinal cord & nerves which send messages to the brain & the rest of the body. Improper position of the spine, (subluxation) can interfere with vital signals which may compromise organ & tissue function. Specific Chiropractic adjustments help to improve mind/body communication

Can I adjust myself?
No. Damage can occur when a joint is forced to "pop" with weakened muscles & ligaments. Chiropractors are the only health professionals in the world trained to detect & correct subluxations. Just like you, your Chiropractic Doctor must get adjusted by a colleague.

How does subluxation occur?
Physical; bumps, falls, accidents & the birthing process. Chemical; drugs, medications, alcohol & more. Emotional; negative thoughts & stress.

What about babies, children & pregnant women? A
djustments may be as gentle as the amount of pressure required if you had to put your finger on your eyeball. Ongoing studies ensure that you & your family receive the most up to date Chiropractic care & education.

How educated is my doctor of chiropractic at Dspine?
Doctor Tom, Doctor Walter & Doctor Fredrick have all completed 6 years of a double science degree in Chiropractic in USA. Now we are delighted to offer our care for the treatment in Thailand.
