Never discount the Aussies, even though they aren't as strong as they once were.

India and Sri Lanka have to be among my favourites this time round though.

I'm pleased Bangladesh are getting a chance to play with the big boys, they deserve it. Wink

England won against the Netherlands yesterday but it should have been easier than it was. The bowling and fielding of the England side was poor.

RE: Cricket World Cup 2011

Unfortunately England have now lost two key players - Kevin Pietersen and Stuart Broad, both of whom will play no further part in the contest due to injury.

Quote:STUART BROAD last night became the latest casualty of England’s World Cup campaign after a side injury forced him out of the tournament.

The Nottinghamshire seam bowler has followed Kevin Pietersen home in another serious setback to England’s hopes.

Broad, 24, complained of stiffness in his side during Sunday’s six-run victory over South Africa, a match in which Pietersen’s hernia problem also flared up.
