BLOOD TRAIL

Official Website:http://www.bloodtrailfilm.com
15 years
3 wars
1 photographer

Sarajevo, 1993. Robert King, a 24-year-old art graduate from Memphis aims to be the youngest ever Pulitzer Prize winner. In contrast to the bravado of the ‘press-pack’, he wears his heart on his sleeve and is completely unashamed about his inexperience.

Through Bosnia, Chechnya and Iraq the film follows his extraordinary attempts to break into war photography.

From innocence to debauchery and finally the recognition he sought, this film answers the two questions that are always asked of war photographers: Why do you do it? How does it affect you?
