'Gas blast' hits Turkey building
A large explosion has rocked the Turkish city of Istanbul, injuring at least 14 people, reports say.

The blast took place in the basement of a five-storey building in the district of Uskudar in eastern Istanbul.

There was no official confirmation of the cause, but sources said police suspected it had been caused by a gas leak rather than an explosive device.

There have been several bomb attacks in Turkey recently, blamed on Kurdish or Islamist groups.
