Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt and I Disagree About Kids in the Bed

Angelina Jolie is already planning for more kids!

When asked by the Today Show's Matt Lauer Thursday morning if she had plans to adopt more kids, she nodded.

"Yeah," Jolie, 33, said. "I have something in mind."

As for when?

"It depends...you can't even start the process until any new children are six months old," Jolie said. "It's a smart thing...to understand when to bring another child in."

As for now, Jolie and beau Brad Pitt are focusing on 3-month-old twins, Knox and Vivienne.

"They're great," Jolie said.

Jolie says her other children - Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 - aren't affected by the new additions to the family.

"You know, we have so many children, they're not really stunned anymore when kids come home," Jolie said.

"Mad's like the professional big brother, he's done it so many times," Jolie says. "We prepared them... they knew [the twins were] coming."

The children "are all at that great age that they aren't threatened," Jolie continues. "That they are independent enough to not need mommy and daddy all the time, and to be able to enjoy the kids.

"They play with them, they change their diapers, they call them their babies, and they dress them up and you know, they have fun with them," Jolie says.

The actress also says she's "pretty much" on the same page with Pitt in raising their brood - only disagreeing on minor events, like when to let the kids join them in bed.

"At the end of the day, they're so cute, we let them in!" Jolie says.

Jolie says they strive to make sure they "never spoil them, never let them forget how fortunate they are - make sure they always keep one foot in the other side of the world, and make sure they give back."

And one day, the globetrotting family (who are currently residing in Germany while Pitt films Inglorious Bastard) may settle down.

"The children will probably dictate. We talk about one day, they'll probably want to stay in one place for a very long time, as they start to get certain friends," Jolie says, "So far we've just moved them a lot. They like packing their bags before the next adventure, and like making new friends wherever we go.

"I think...we'd like to maintain that...we'd like them to be those kind of adults, where they can find home wherever they are in the world, where they can find friends wherever they are in the world," Jolie says.

Jolie says her outlook has changed since claiming she was better off alone years ago.

"I've met the right person, and I'm not going to say anything that's going to embarrass me, but I don't like being without him," Jolie says. "I don't like being alone like I used to be."
