Does anyone else here watch American Idol, which is now in it`s 6th series?

Basically it`s a talent contest with the eventual winners of a singing competition virtually being guaranteed stardom and lots of loot.

Not me, but I do watch Australian Idol which is our version of it.
The last series was the best yet I reckon.

Ah, of course casper, I`d forgotten that there`s the Aussie version too. Is it well watched?

Most of the American winners have found a great deal of success.
