Previously it was almost totally Class 10 under the TRT but now there is good representation from Classes 7, 8, 9, and 11. This was done, in my opinion anyway, to offset the chance of another coup. I think the General K thing is more of a loose cannon inside the UDD which is made up of a lot of smaller groups. Some of these groups are much more radical than others and may well provide the catalyst if something big happens. My personal feeling is that this time if there is a coup there will be an immediate counter coup with all the associated military sides fighting it out. We could even see a mutiny by the non coms who are predominantly from the North and Northeast poor areas. In the Songkran riots the troops that were brought in were special ops from south of Bangkok because the military could not be sure that the troops from Bangkok north would follow orders and fire on the group that most of them support.
