If you have seen or experienced a UFO sighting please let us know details about the experience in this thread

My first and only experience was many years ago. I was about 12 years old and on holidays with my family. It was summer time and we were travelling from Stansbury to Minlaton on the Yorke Peninsula, SA. The area has lots of wheat farms. As we were driving along the highway we noticed some large wheat silos on the left of the vehicle, as we got closer we noticed a large oval shaped light hovering above the silos with a light going down into the silos. As we got closer we noticed that 4 other cars had stopped on the side of the road watching the encounter. As we pulled up, the light sped off and disappeared into the horizon. We waited for about 15 minutes and nothing reappeared. We and the other cars then left the area. After some research I found out that quite often UFOs are sighted near wheat silos as "apparently" they use the wheat for some sort of fuel or feed source

About 25 yrs ago was driving to Qld ,myself, wife, 3yr and 8 month old sons,10 oclock at night, no one else around ,seen a bright light comming toward us ,first thought big truck,but then my head lights went out engine died and we rolled to stop. This bright light keeped boobing along .Panic, thought this truck might not see us and hit us so we got the kids out quickly we stood to the side of the road ,but noticed light not getting closer, few minutes pass, brightnes then nothing ,I then tried the car it started and we finished the journey.It was a new car just over first service ,I took it to nearest dealer next day had it looked at nothing wong ,keept it another 7years ,never played up again

Howdy Glass, thanks for sharing your experience. Hopefully it will encourage other members that have had encounters to come forward and tell us their UFO story. I am just wondering how far do you believe the UFO was from you and also did you feel anything, maybe anxiety and was there any unexplained loss of time?

seem to be 300feet ? give or take high beam lenght .huge anxiety,afraid ?,in them days I had done some hair raising things this was something else,no control on feelings. Time seemed to be OK .but have had an interrest ever since

Similar to my experience, feeling of anxiety and I can still remember it fairly clearly but no loss of time. It came fairly close to you, were you able to see the shape of the craft?

No, all we really seen was light,sort of bobbed up and down,maybe slight elong shape.

Just out of interest what colour was the light and was it glowing?

More yellow than white ,but the flash was more white
