These are my favourite Australian Beers
Number 1
Southwark Premium
This multi-award winning golden lager is a flavourful accompaniment to a wide range of foods. Our premium is brewed with the finest local barley malt and with a blend of premium imported aroma and Tasmanian bitter hops. Winning the Champion Australasian Beer trophy at the 2001 Australian International Beer awards, further confirms its reputation as South Australia's finest premium lager.

Number 2
Coopers Original Pale Ale
Guaranteed to turn heads, this is the beer that inspired a new generation of ale drinkers. With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion.
Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking.
Pale Ale has no additives or preservatives.
4.5% Alc/Vol

Dunno about the beer, but here in the UK some of the Fosters and Castlemaine XXXX were amongst the best ads on TV. Don`t seem to see many of them nowadays though unfortunately.

G'day,
I like beer for the taste as well as the effects.
Coopers Pale Ale is great
Cascade premium very nice
James Boag premium very nice
There are a whole bunch of boutique beers around too that are nice but a bit expensive to drink all the time. A few are nice now and then but I would not drink on a regular basis. Beez Neez is one.
I once read that any group of things (animals, brain cells etc) is only as strong as it's weakest member and to survive and grow stronger the weakest must die. Using this theory, drinking beer is good for your brain as it gets rid of the weaker brain cells to make your brain stronger leading to increased intelligence!!!
