A little more than a half year after launch, Website-Monitoring took a look at the demographics behind Google+. One surprise is the number of students on the network — 20%. That compares to the next most-popular profession on the list, software engineers (2.65%). Consultants and managers are also popular on the network. Men also make up 67% of G+’s audience. That’s an improvement over July, when males made up 86.8% or 73.7% of G+, depending on the source.
